Walk like old people

Someone told me that I walked like old people. Because I sometimes put my hands together behind my back when I walk. Do you see what I'm saying? Maybe it's difficult for you to get the picture but I agree many of old people walk that way lol

Christmas

Christmas eve in Japan, almost every restaurant is be opened because people go out. So it's time for the restaurant to make some money. But in US, there were only a few restaurant was opened because people stay with their family.I didn't even see people walking in the city.

Merry Christmas!

Japan comparing to US.

Things I realized when I came to US. Living in Japan is too convenient comparing to living in US. Transportation, grocery store, convenience store....etc And even prices of commodities are  cheaper in Japan now (2013 Dec)  Especially grocery. Is it just deflation rate has been increasing or we've been just spoiled...lol

Going away from Santa Monica

I'll be heading to Austin tomorrow. I've been to Dalas a lot before but never been to Austin. People tell me it's very wonderful city. It should be cold there. At least colder than California. I used to live in Paris, TX when I was 20 years old. If I have time, I'd love to visit there again to see how it has changed. But, like Santa Monica, I guess I would not see so much changes. Oh, I found the apartment where I used to live in Santa Monica when I walked around the city on first day. It made me a little happy. It even looks much better now. It's been 20 years...? It's still like a few years ago to me... Man I'm getting old....

Everything becomes humor

There are many things I can find whenever I saty in different culture. Here in US, I do feel inferior to people with humor issue. Someone just asked me if she could borrow my muscle. I had no idea what she's actually asking for. It was just she wanted to move wooden meeting table to the other side of the office. I took me 5 seconds to get an idea what she really meant. So come to think of it, if someone in Japan asked me the same thing, most people would just say something like `` Can you help us to move the table?''  There would be no humor.... I think each language makes many different results in many different situations.

How many sides to this story

Oddly enough this kind of scene reminds me of many things. I think this is very interesting how this scene reminds me of many things that I've done as my exchange student in US about 20 years ago. I just passed through this road and found this sofa and I felt something like familiar ease? from this. Am I too old?....

Grocery store

Regular grocery store in America, I realized veggy and meat are a little more expensive than Japan. I thought it's cheeper... I might be wrong but I really felt it was a little more expensi. Especially chicken....

Have any of you ever seen a real HANADAMA with your naked eye? I have but only a few times. If I'm getting full-baldy, I would rather have my head as HANADAMA.
